Need a concrete pump in Alicante for a pool? That is exactly the kind of job we have done here: 18 m³ of concrete for a swimming pool. We come down from La Nucía with our truck-mounted static pump and our own operator, working for pool contractors, builders and owners across the city and the villa districts along the coast to the north.
A real job: 18 m³ for a pool in Alicante
In Alicante we pumped 18 m³ of concrete for a swimming pool.
A pool needs concrete that goes in without stopping and is properly compacted, in the base and the walls. With the pump, the mixer lorry does not have to get anywhere near the hole. The operator moves the line to where it is needed, and a poker vibrator can be added so there are no voids. For the full picture, read concrete for your swimming pool, or see the job among our projects.
Playa de San Juan and Cabo de las Huertas
The villa areas around Playa de San Juan and Cabo de las Huertas are where many Alicante pools and patios get built.
Cabo de las Huertas is a rocky headland of detached houses with gardens running towards the sea. Behind Playa de San Juan there are streets of villas and newer homes, popular with buyers from the UK and northern Europe. Plots are often walled with a single gate, and the pool sits behind the house. Our pump lorry stays on the street and the line goes through the gate and round the house, up to 400 metres if it has to.
El Campello and the coast north
Just north of Alicante, El Campello and Muchavista have villas and townhouses close to the beach.
Here we pump for pools, patios, driveways and extension foundations. For driveways and terraces we can finish in stamped concrete or brushed concrete for grip. See concrete driveways and patios.
Bigger pours for builders
For larger jobs the pump keeps up a steady 16 to 18 m³ an hour.
Alicante also has bigger sites: foundations, basements and large slabs for builders. We come with two people, usually finish the concrete ourselves, and coordinate the lorries with the batching plant so they arrive one after another. If you are a builder with several pours coming up, have a look at concrete pumping for builders.
From La Nucía to Alicante
Alicante is about 50 km from our yard, roughly 45 minutes on the motorway.
We allow for that when planning, so we are set up when the first lorry arrives. Distance and line length are part of the price you get before we start. You get one fixed price for the pump, operator, lines, setting up and cleaning up. We order the concrete from the plant and put it on the same quote. We can usually book within three working days.
